How to handle a Chicken
-When picking up chickens carefully approach the chicken
trying not to spook them if the chckens
run do not chase after them let them run then go back and get them in a minute. If
you have a friend helping you get him to corner the chicken and then you grab it.
-When grabing a chicken place your hands gently over the birds wings so that it doesn't flap its wings then, gently put your hands over the wings firm put not too tight.
-When holding a chicken hold it like a football with the rear end pointing away from you.this is good because if it drops it waste it won't get all over you and when holding a baby chicken be very careful with to because its bones are just starting to develop.
-When putting the chicken down gently lower it to the ground then let it go.
